Savannah River Site Tours

All 2009 Savannah River Site Tours are currently full.

Tour slots do come available from time to time so
please check back periodically.

The Department of Energy will host eight public tours of the Savannah River Site in 2009. The dates of the scheduled tours are as follows:

  • Wednesday, September 9, 2009 (8:30 a.m.)
  • Thursday, September 17, 2009 (8:30 a.m.)
  • Tuesday, September 29, 2009 (8:30 a.m.)
  • Monday, October 5, 2009 (8:30 a.m.)
  • Thursday, October 15, 2009 (12:30 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, October 28, 2009 (12:30 p.m.)
  • Thursday, November 12, 2009 (12:30 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, December 1, 2009 (12:30 p.m.)

Tour times are 8:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m., and last for approximately four hours.

All tours begin and end at the Center for Hydrogen Research, located at 301 Gateway, Drive, Aiken, S.C. 29803. The tours are free of charge.

Participants are allowed to request up to two tour slots for their party. Select the number of people in your party below. A list of tours, with approximate available seating, will then be displayed. Select the date and time of the desired tour date to begin the registration process.

A second screen will follow requesting a point of contact (may or may not be a tour member) and full names of all participants 18 years and older and verifying U.S. citizenship. Once you have completed and submitted the registration for all participants, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not have an email address, your confirmation letter will arrive at your street address.
